Perched on one of Queen’s Park’s leafy residential avenues, we completed the full reconfiguration and refurbishment of a 2/3-bedroom house, including a single storey side extension and loft conversion.
On behalf of the homeowners, Will Gamble Architects drew up plans and obtained consent for the changes, before tendering out to a selection of local contractors. We were delighted to secure the job. Before carrying out the works, we undertook a value engineering analysis to help our clients understand where they could save costs and where it was worth investing.
Our client’s interior palette was a joy to work with – a cohesive blend of traditional and playful. Using the architect’s designs for a side extension with a vast skylight and exposed rafters, we created a characterful kitchen diner. And upstairs, we reconfigured the first floor to include two new bathrooms, while converting the unused loft space into a liveable, useful area of the home.
